Like (probably) many others, I was shocked to read today of Bob Owens’ death yesterday. I desperately hope that a way is found to keep the lights on at BearingArms; like it or not, you’ve been catapulted to chief author. The chief message: that guns are used frequently to save lives and prevent crime (albeit sometimes by ending a criminal) is told better by you and Bob, than anywhere else I’ve discovered.

Jenn – appreciated your comment about Gun Owners can’t be Christians. The Pope evidently never looked at Luke 22:36 where Christ is speaking saying, “But now, let him who has a purse take it along, likewise also a bag, and let him who has no sword sell his robe and buy one.” Today you would buy a firearm. The Pope probably also skipped over Luke 11:21 where Christ speaking says, “When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own homestead, his possessions are undisturbed;”
